Site has been developed to use as a seminar
to invite prospective members to your church.

Freedom from debt was taught by Jesus in Luke 4:18-19 when
he told of his mission statement to free the prisoners. Good news
was to be preached to the poor and blind and oppressed of the world.
We have been overcome with debt problems and become blind to our
finance companies and become ineffective in ministering to others
because we have to spend so much time and energy just funding our
            debts.
If you want to grow a mighty church, follow the
example of David in 1 Sam 22:2. "All those who were in distress or
in debt or discontented gathered around him, and he became their
leader. About four hundred men were with him."
  These four
hundred were the begining of the personal development of David and
his mighty men. You may read about them in 2 Samuel 23:8-39.

How to get people to this
            seminar

            1.
Establish a time and date for your seminar. I would suggest doing
these quarterly in your church. Make up some flyers which are
attractive and informative. I will try and place some examples on
this web site soon. If you have one, please send me a copy.

  2. Target your neighborhood around your church. Organize
some faithful members to pass them out in the neighborhood.

  3. Pass out flyers at the local supermarkets as folks leave
the market. Dress nicely, be friendly and reflect the Lord.

  4. Target younger couples with small children. One effective
way is to visit your local McDonald's if they have one of those play
areas. Some restaurants have special days for family meals and
inexpensive happy meals. Parents take the kids to play, and then
just sit around and talk. Take your young kids and grandkids, let
them play, and you can meet lots of folks with real needs. Single
            parents flock to these places.
  5. Advertise on local
bulletin boards, local newspapers, local TV cable channels. Use your
            imagination.
  6. Have everyone in your church commit to
inviting five people from work or their neighborhood to the seminar.

  7. Target local health clubs. These are active folks. Use
other members influence in local civic clubs to pass out flyers. I
would target the promotion no more than one to two weeks from your
seminar date. People will forget beyond that.
  8. Make it a
matter of prayer for your church. Remember that Jesus met people's
needs, healing the blind, etc, before he dealt with their spiritual
needs. Read John 9 for an example of that.

             I
would be happy to come do this seminar for you. I do not charge
anything for this. I am happy with the knowledge of knowing I have
helped people get out of their debt prison.
  Locally, in the
Tidewater Virginia area, I am available for this seminar. Out of
town arrangements can be made if you pay for my transportation and
housing. A good old fried chicken dinner from one of the church
ladies would not be turned down.
